Ini Materi guiding saya pas UKOM kemarin nih hehe dan saya dapat materi di bagian Transfer in.
udah pada tau kan transfer in itu apa?
Transfer in adalah proses penjemputan wisatawan dari bandara kedatangan ke hotel tujuan wisatawan.
sebenernya antara seneng gak senang sih dapet materi ini. kenapa?
gak senang nya : Materinya banyaaaaak banget, dan ribetnya kita harus guiding di dalam bus.
senangnya : Nambah pengalaman dan ilmu, pastinya materi ini sangat berguna ketika di industri kerja.
soal UKOMnya pasti pada bertanya "berarti saya guidingnya dari Bandara dong?"
enggak kok hehe saya guiding mulai dari sekolah. jadi lebih kesimulasi aja hehe
dan berapa waktu minimum saya untuk guiding? 20 menit! ini lama banget lho. harus pinter pinter ngembangin materi guide nya jadinya.

might be wonder why we assistant driver beside the driver, but in Jakarta the
traffic is so crowded, and Mr. Didi will help Mr. Dedi during the tour, example
parking the bus. And my self my name is Fathur Rahman, you can call me fathur

this side, there are 3 different statues, The nearest one is Mbies/Asmat statue
from Asmat Papua, That represent the eastern indonesia zone time or GMT +9. And
the middle one is Garuda wisnu statue, That represent the central indonesia
zone time or GMT +8. And the last one is Nias Statue from Sumatra, that
represent the western indonesia zone time or GMT +7.

Soekarno-Hatta statue, the man who wearing hat is Mr. Soekarno our first
President, and beside him is Mr. Moh. Hatta well known as Mr. hatta, both of
them is a founding father of this nation, and to gratitude all their efforts
and to memorize them thats why the name of Apt. in Jakarta become
Soekarno-Hatta Intl. Apt, and right now we are heading to Hotel Indonesia
Kempinski. It’s Maybe take 90 minutes if there are
no traffic jam.
Hotel Indonesia Kempinski is the
first 5 stars Hotel in South East Asia, that initially built to become an
accommodation hotel of Sea Games player 1962, and completed with a lot of great
facilities like pool, bar, spa, room service, restaurant, gym, and many other.
But if you're a sophaholic right behind your hotel there's the biggest Shopping
Arcade in south East Asia, which is Grand Indonesia Shopping town, so you can
shop whatever you want until you drop.

Rupiah, so have u converted your money from USD to IDR in Airport? “Yes, Right
now the exchange rate of 1 USD is equal with about IDR 9000, we have 2 types
first one is Coin, the lowest value is IDR 100 and the highest value is IDR

L&G we just passed Gapura Bali
or Candi Bentar, this is a traditional gate from Bali, in Bali every home has
Gapura in the front of their home, to show the expression of friendliness to
the guest that enter their home. So Gapura Bali that we just passed by, is the
gate of hospitality and shows that Jakarta people is a friendly and warm
people.
L&G Indonesia is a tropical
country that located in Southeast Asia. Indonesia is a Democratic and Republic
Country leads by Mr. SBY as President, and Mr. Boediyono as Vice-President. Indonesia
is the forth most populous nation in the world after Chine, India, And USA.
Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world has a total of 17.508 island
of which about 6000 are in habited. Indonesia also has 700 local languages, and
1000 local ethnics.Thats why Indonesia is really diverse, and has a slogan
“Bhinekka Tunggal Ika” , that means Unity In Diversity, so we are One even we
are different.
Indonesia also has 5 religions
acknowledge by the Government, there are Islam, Christian, Catholic, Hinduism,
and Buddhism. The majority religion is Islam, that’s why you will easily find
women wearing veil or hijab, and you also can hear Adzan or prayer calling in
certain time.
L&G because the majority
religion is Islam and Indonesia located in the Eastern Part, here are some
suggestions to you. 1. If you want to give or take something, please use your
right hand, 2. Avoid to touch other people head, 3. If u pass other people you
can say “Excuse Me”, 5. Please wearing an appropriate clothes, 6. And dont wear
to much jewelry.
And if you want to call/ say hi to
other people, Here are some suggestion for you. If you see the older woman than
you you can call they with “Ibu”, and then if you see the older man than you,
you can call they with “Bapak”. And if you see a girl/boy and you think you
have a same age with them you can call they with “Kakak”.
L&G Jakarta has over than 5000
schools that makes Jakarta center of education, Merdeka Palace where President
Stay, Parliament Building, Embassies and other Gov. building also located in
Jakarta makes Jakarta center of Government, and Jakarta also a center of
Politic, Economy, Fashion, etc. Jakarta covers an area about 650 km2, that
consist of 5 municipalities and 1 regency, There are Central Jakarta also known
as a center of Gov. South Jakarta also known as center of residence. North,
East, West Jakarta known as center of Business and Industry, and the last is
Kepulauan Seribu or Thousand Island known because of the beautifullness of
Islands.
L&G Jakarta also has an
interesting population, because in day Jakarta has over than 15 million people,
but in night Jakarta has 12 million people, there are 3 million gap, Because
there are too many people come from ather region to work and study in jakarta.
L&G Indonesia has 2 seasons,
Rainy season falls from Oct to March, Dry season falls from April to Sep, and
right now Jakarta is in a rainy season, so it is important for you to bring
umbrella wherever you go, using comfortable clothes, and you also can use
sunblock, why? Because the temperature in Jakarta is pretty unpredictable, it
can be so shiny at a time, and just in moment it could turn to be a cloudy day.
L&G we already entering Sudirman
Street, and you can see on this side Senayan Sport Center, with Bung Karno
Stadium as an icon, this place also initially built to become place of Sea
Games 1962.
L&G Jakarta is crowded with a
lot of vehicle, like other city in Jakarta you can see Bus (air conditioned, or
no air-conditioned), Taxi (Normal or Low Fare), but Jakarta has a modern
vehicle, it was start to introduce by our former Government Mr. Sutiyoso on
2004, named Transjakarta, now Transjakarta has 10 corridors that conect almost
every part in Jakarta. The price of the ticket is really cheap , from 5-7 a.m.
It just IDR 2.000, and from 7-midnight it become IDR 3.500, if you are going to
travel by your self you should take this type of transportation, because its
more comfortable, cheaper, safer, and faster.
L&G besides the modern, jakarta
also has a traditional vehicle, named Bajaj. Thank God I bring the miniature of
bajaj, because it's really hard to find this vehicle in this area. This is
Bajaj, an orange vehicle, that can contain 3 persons, 1 person as a driver, and
2 persons as passengers. You will get a new experience if you take this
vehicle, if u take car or bus the sound of engine will be like this
“nnnnnnnnnnn”, but if you take bajaj, and you're going to sit, the abang2 or
driver will turn on the machine, and the sensations will be like this “det det
det”, it will be shaking and trembling until you reach your destination. And if
you take this transportation you should bargain, so if you have a good skill to
bargain I do believe that you will get a good price.
L&G I want to tell you some
particularly information in hotel.
1. if you want to charge something like smartphone or laptop
you must look at the electric socket first in indonesia the electric socket has
2 hole like this. Make sure your charger has a 2 stalk so you can connect your
charger to the electric socket. If your charger has 3 stalk, you can call to
the room service and they will give you a flexible connector. 2. If you need
something that important for you or your beloging has been lost in your room, you
can call to me/ the lobby hotel and then we will help you as soon as possible. 3. You are
not allowed to drink a water from the tap, because it’s not a clean water.
Ussually you will get some bottle of fresh water in your room, and you can drink
it.
L&G in just about 5 minutes we
will reach Hotel Indonesia Kempinski that located in Roundabout of Hotel
Indonesia, this place is really strategic, you can take Transjakarta in the
front of Hotel and you can see a great view from your balcony, and please
prepare your self, make sure all the travel document already collected and hold
by the Tour Leader. And check all your personal belongings.
Before L&G you can see on this
side first Selamat Datang or Welcome Statue, that heading to the west, this
statue is to welcome Sea Games Player 1962, and still stand until now to
welcome all people that come to Jakarta especially all of you.
